Heritage Above Ground Swimming Pool Review Highlights & Takeaways

At the higher-end of the price scale for above ground pools – expect to spend about $2,500 to $5,000 – the Heritage Georgian is built with sturdy, heavy duty materials that should stand up to the elements and reasonable abuse. This is an above ground pool that is likely to last longer than some of the lower end models.

Given its sturdy construction and connections, the Heritage is not an above ground that will be easy to take up and down every season. However, the manufacturer provides specific instructions for winterizing the pool to ensure it’ll be protected from the elements through the winter and minimize the risk of damage to the liner, filter, and supports. Check the manual for details.

The resin connecting components, galvanized steel walls, and stainless steel hardware are designed to stand up to the elements and hold up against rust and corrosion. Your Heritage above ground swimming pool is built to last.

The ladder included in the pool set features a flip-up staircase on the outside to prevent small children from entering the pool. On the inside of the ladder, there’s an anti-entrapment wall to keep swimmers from getting stuck from under the ladder.

With the pump and filter included with the pool, you’ll be ready to use it very soon after set up.

  1. These are nice pools. However the warranty coverage by Wilbur International Inc is the worst in the business. They claim that they have 50 and 60 year warranty on their pools. Here is the catch to that. You have to take your pool down and check both the return port and the skimmer port every year. You have to check for leaks. If they are leaks you are required to fix and replace the seals. Document the day and dates this was done. This is were they get you. If you look at all of the reports from the better business bureau. You will see they do not honor their pool warranties because you did not follow the instructions about the maintenance of the pool. The sales person do not tell you anything thing about you having to do the maintenance checks to make sure you are covered by the warranty. Back in 2014 I replaced a 30’ round pool with a Heritage Salt Water Pool. It was the top of the line pool. All resin pool parts. However the pool wall was 30’ by 52” all steel wall. The wall had all this special coatings on both the inside and the outside of the pool wall to protect it from any damage from the elements of salt water use. After five years. We have a problem and we decided to empty the pool clean the pool and refill it. After about a foot of water in the pool. We noticed the pool Liner had a problem. It looked like it was stuck to the wall in some places and then twisted in other places. So we decided to replace the pool liner. After we took the liner down and out of the pool. We noticed surface rust in the middle of the pool wall. There was rust at each joint were the beaded liner receiver tack came together. There were nine holes in and along the receiver track. There was surface rust at the return port and at the skimmer area. We did have a small leak at the skimmer the first year we had the pool. We replaced one gasket and added some silicone sealant to the outside where the leak was. What was Wilbur international response to the warranty coverage. Unfortunately not covered!
